Amaryllis Lily Double Mixed

Amaryllis Lily Double grows from a bulb and needs a bright spot with a few hours of indirect sunlight to bloom well. Water sparingly when planting, then keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged, as the bulb rots easily if it sits in water. Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every couple of weeks once the flower stalk appears, and stake the tall stems if the large double blooms make them top-heavy.

This is a double-flowered Amaryllis in a mixed colour selection, so you can expect layered, ruffled petals in shades that may include red, pink, white and bi-colours. Double varieties carry many more petals than the single trumpet types, giving a fuller, showier bloom on each stem. Because the pack is mixed, it suits gardeners who want a varied display rather than a single uniform shade.

Amaryllis Lily Double works beautifully as a potted feature on a bright windowsill, balcony or veranda where its large blooms can be seen up close. It also does well grouped along a shaded patio edge or as an indoor centrepiece during the flowering season. Keep it away from harsh midday sun and cold draughts to help the flowers last longer.

Buying Amaryllis Lily Double from GardenGo means the bulb is sourced locally and dispatched quickly, so it arrives fresh and ready to plant rather than dried out from days in transit. In serviced areas delivery is often within about two hours, and you can add pots, potting soil and fertiliser to the same order. This makes it simple to get everything you need for a healthy start in one delivery.
