Why these four

Snake plants vary more than people realise: dark green, gold-edged, banded, compact. Grouped together the patterns show against each other, and the care is identical for all four, so there is nothing new to learn.

Where to keep them

Indoors in any light, including a dim corridor. They also take direct sun.

Looking after them

Water every ten to fourteen days, less in winter. Overwatering is the only real risk.
