Three plants that scent a balcony after dark, flowering in turn from March to October.
Why these three
Mogra carries the summer, raat ki rani opens after sunset and reaches further than any of them, and rajnigandha spikes through the monsoon. Put together for succession, so something is always in flower.
Where to keep them
Outdoors or on an open balcony — all three want four hours of direct sun to set buds.
Looking after them
Water daily in summer, feed once a month while flowering, and prune mogra back hard after the last flush.
